Evan Roberts (Twr Cynwyd) and Martha Griffiths (Crogen Wladis) were married by banns in Llangollen. Witnesses were William and Thomas Jones. Although Martha is shown on the IGI as "About 1776 of Llangollen, Denbigh" no baptism for Martha exists in the parish registers as transcribed by Clwyd FHS.

More about the children of Evan Roberts and Martha Griffiths:
Elizabeth Roberts was baptised in Llangollen on 26th January 1799. The parish registers show "abode" as Crogan Wladis. Her burial on 27 May 1799 shows abode as Vivod.
John Roberts (whose baptism doesn't appear on the transcribed parish registers for Llangollen), continued to farm Eirianalt after the death of his parents. No further information has been found for John.
Edward Roberts was born on 10th June 1803 and baptised on 19th June. No further information has been found, other than he was a witness to the marriage of his brother Thomas in 1829.
Thomas Roberts was born 11th May 1808. He married Anne Jones of Y Bonc, Llwyn-Maur, Glyn Ceiriog.
