Who is Active Service?
Active Service is an independent consultancy run by Richard (Rick) Jones, specialising in some of the more technical aspects of Windows & Linux PCs.
I am by profession a computer software and hardware engineer with more than 25 years experience, and through Active Service I write and publish on a number of topics. My favourite subject which I devote a lot of time to is Digital Video, and there is a whole section of this site is devoted to it.
I will soon be offering training and support services, geared especially for individuals and small businesses. When I have more details they will appear on this site.
